External Walls
External Walls
You can hide waterproofing for outside walls under cladding or use it as a beautiful waterproof layer. Treatments must be able to cover up cladding penetrations or work as flexible coatings or cementitious renders.

Waterproofing for the facade’s external walls can be done in two ways: as a hidden treatment below the cladding layers or as a decorative coating that also keeps water out.
Before putting on the final facade finish, the treatment also needs to address any holes in the cladding systems.
If the waterproofing is the last step, it might be either a decorative flexible coating that goes over concrete or plastered surfaces or a decorative waterproof cementitious render.
